Dewayne and Jamie Carte
Dewayne and Jamie Carte serve as the Senior Ministers of Jamie Carte Ministries, and as Board of Directors
of JCM. Information about Dewayne and Jamie is located on the "ABOUT US" Page.
Additional information is that Dewayne is also employed by H.G. Carte Electric where he has served
for nine years. Jamie attended Marshall University in Huntington, W.V. and W.V. Technical College in Montgomery,
W.V. where she earned a BA and Associate degrees in the Legal Studies Program. When Dewayne and Jamie are not ministering
they like to hang out with each other, read and travel.
One of the Scriptures in the Bible that means alot to Dewayne is Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his
kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." For life is alot easier
when we put Him first in everything. Ephesians 3: 20 means very much to Jamie. "Now
to him who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,"
The reason this truth means so much to her is that God says that He'll do more than we can even think, pray for, or ask
for according to the power that is in us. I Believe Lord that I have that Power in
me, so You can do through me all You need to!

Board Of Director Meetings
WE HONOR YOU, WOMAN OF GOD!
A SPECIAL TRIBUTE
On Thursday, 16 November 2006, Dewayne and I and Jamie Carte Ministries
lost one of our most dearest friends and Ministry colleagues, and Board of Director to the Ministry, Vickie White. Vickie
first met Dewayne and I as I was ministering at Regional Church of God in Delbarton, WV. As I was speaking, an instant connection
began and Vickie proceeded to tell my mother, Carol Webb, that if I would ever need someone to edit the book that I am writing
(and still writing today) that she would love to help. Dewayne and I were so excited that someone would want to help us complete
what God had been telling us to do. Vickie believed in us. Vickie believed in this Ministry and to Dewayne and I it meant
the world.
Our first meeting with Vickie was wonderful. She invited us to come
to her home and she, in her teaching way, instructed me on how to begin this journey of writing for God. She looked at some
of the things I had already began to write and after viewing it all, she looked up at me and said “Jamie, this is good,
this is really good!” “You’ve got something to write that a lot of people would want to read.” This
to me was incredible. For, when I was in college I had an English Professor who told me that he didn’t like the way
I wrote and said that I might as well drop the class because he wasn’t going to pass me. (And he proved it by giving
me low marks on all of my papers.) He in a nutshell told me that I couldn’t write. So, when Sister Vickie had told me
that I could . . . well, it truly canceled what the enemy tried to convince me of for the rest of my life. Vickie believed
in me and the vision that God had given Dewayne and I. It was as if Vickie loved us, before she ever really knew us. Though
we did not deserve such love, she gave it freely anyway.
When we would meet with Vickie, Dewayne and I felt like we
were the most important and loved people in the world. Vickie made you believe in yourself. Vickie saw things in Dewayne and
I that we did not see in our selves. She had a way of speaking things over you that she could see God doing in and through
you that in the natural seemed impossible or far-fetched. But when Vickie spoke them to you, you knew that you could
do these impossible things. Our special meetings and out of the ordinary love that she had for Dewayne and I and JCM will
be so missed. Her grand encouragement and love for The Bride of Christ will ever be treasured by Dewayne and I and this Ministry.
At Vickie’s wake, Dewayne and I witnessed a vast array of people
paying their respects to her. Covering one of the walls was messages from all of her past and present students. Many writing
thank you to her for believing in them and for telling them that they could reach higher and higher. Through the many testimonies
we heard and read we could see that what Vickie had made Dewayne and I feel was how she made hundreds of others feel. Many
others had went on and did great things for God and their communities, families and churches due to the encouragement, love
and time she so unselfishly sowed.
Vickie White
Vickie served as one of the Board of Directors
for Jamie Carte Ministries (JCM). She resided in Varney, W.V. Vickie completed an A.B. Degree of English
and Journalism. Vickie also served as a Teacher's Consultant for Writing Project of Marshall University of Huntington,
W.V. She was an English Teacher at Burch High School.
She attended and was actively involved in
The Regional Church of God in Delbarton, W.V. She also served as the Co-Director of the House of Hope
for over two years. This Ministry and Outreach was birthed out of The Regional Church of God in Delbarton, W.V.
She also served with the Ministry, Divorce Care for four years.
Vickie has two children Christa, age 29, Andrea,
age 21, and a son-in-law, Danny, age 31. Vickie is also blessed to have a grandson, Dylan Carter, age 4. The things
that Vickie enjoyed to do in her spare time was quilting, gardening, and writing. Writing was a deep passion
for Vickie.
Vickie, we honor you and the ministry you were and
still are today for Dewayne and I, the Board of Directors and to Jamie Carte Ministries. Your inspiration and love will forever
be remembered and cherished. You are so precious to us all! We will continue in this Ministry on the precious seed of encouragement
that you planted in us. The intimate words of what you saw God doing in our lives and in our future shall carry us. We will
forever remember you and all that you have done for and with us. You are forever with us; you are forever our friend. You
are a righteous woman, a prayer warrior, a sister who was always there, and servant in this Ministry. Thank you for all that
you have done for us. We will keep marching and fighting and being ambassadors for The Kingdom Of God.
In ending this tribute, we enclose an exert from
the Williamson Daily Newspaper, 20 November 2006, Volume 94, page 2a, as they wrote of Victoria Elizabeth White, “Victoria was employed with the Mingo County Board of Education for more than
25 years. She taught English and journalism classes at Burch High School, where she was highly respected by both the staff
and her students. “Miss V.” as she was affectionately called by her students, was enthusiastic in her efforts
to capture the attention of her students and to impart to them the importance of education. She worked diligently each day
to help her students realize their gifts and talents and she encouraged each of them to reach for the stars. . . . Victoria
gave countless hours of her time not only to her chosen field of education, but to the many charitable organizations in which
she was involved. Her influence in the community and her example of service to others will long be remembered. She will greatly
be missed by all who knew and loved her.”
Thank you Sister Vickie, for imparting
into Dewayne and I that we also could reach for the stars and teach others to receive and follow The One Who made the stars!
We love you Vickie now and forever!
Precious visits to JCM Website!
