You Have Saved
The Best For Last

The wedding that The Word records that Jesus attended is very significant, for it is the place where Jesus performed His first manifested miracle. John 2:1-11 (CEV) reveals this account to us, Three days later Mary, the mother of Jesus, was at a wedding feast in the village of Cana in Galilee. 2 Jesus and his disciples had also been invited and were there. 3 When the wine was all gone, Mary said to Jesus, "They don't have any more wine.” 4 Jesus replied, "Mother, my time hasn't yet come: You must not tell me what to do.” 5 Mary then said to the servants, "Do whatever Jesus tells you to do.” 6 At the feast there were six stone water jars that were used by the people for washing themselves in the way that their religion said they must. Each jar held about twenty or thirty gallons. 7 Jesus told the servants to fill them to the top with water. Then after the jars had been filled, 8 he said, "Now take some water and give it to the man in charge of the feast.” The servants did as Jesus told them, 9 and the man in charge drank some of the water that had now turned into wine. He did not know where the wine had come from, but the servants did. He called the bridegroom over 10 and said, "The best wine is always served first. Then after the guests have had plenty, the other wine is served. But you have kept the best until last!”11 This was Jesus' first miracle, and he did it in the village of Cana in Galilee. There Jesus showed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.”

This time that we live in appears so complex. There are the issues of war EVERYWHERE. There are the issues of the financial economy all around the world. There are issues of what man calls “natural disasters” of earthquakes, fire, mud slides and hurricanes all around the globe. There are threats and events of genocide to various religious groups, people and nations. There are viruses, strings of flu and plagues that are evolving across planet earth that we are all standing against. Matthew 24:3-8 (NIV) explains to us, “As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.”  The Bible makes it very clear of the TIME that we are living in. There was a TIME that the disciples were asking Jesus about. As you well know and can see in the news, these things are all happening at once in the earth. We are the generation privileged to see what the preceding prophets longed to see. And if we could speak to them, I would imagine that they would tell us that they hoped to see and be a part of the people who would see the coming of The Lord in the great catching away. (SEE 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.)

TIME, has become the greatest commodity that we have in this age and era of 2010. Everyone has filled their lives with so many things, so many activities and social obligations that there is no TIME left. In Webster’s Dictionary TIME is defined as, a point at which, or period during which, things happen; hour of the day; an appropriate season or moment; an opportunity; duration; an interval; a period in the past; the duration of one’s life; allotted or measured period or its completion; The Word shows us how God calculates TIME in 2 Peter 3:8-9 (AMP), Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.” So, to put it real simply . . . One day equals one thousand years (1 day = 1,000 years).

In the scriptures (John 2:1-11) that we spoke of in the beginning of this teaching, there was some specific things I’d like to bring to your attention. First, the scripture tells us that on the third (3rd) day Jesus, His mother, and His disciples were all at a wedding! All that The Word speaks of has purpose. Numbers have purpose and in The Word numbers have meanings just like words. Matter of fact the numbers mean words! Now, in our calendar we can see that this is 2010. It has been over 2,000 years since Jesus Christ walked on planet earth. The Word has explained to us that The Lord sees TIME as a day equals 1,000 years. We have passed day two (2)! Which means we are now living in DAY 3! And what was Jesus doing on the 3rd day? He, His family and His disciples were attending a wedding that they had all been invited to!

The next wedding that King Jesus will be attending will be His own! He is The Bridegroom and we, The Church are His Bride! And what happened at the wedding that Jesus attended here on earth? They ran out of wine. Wine is a symbol of the anointing of God. The water jars that were brought to Jesus were used for cleaning and purifying oneself, “Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.” The people attending the wedding by custom, cleaned themselves with the water in the jars. Most individuals walked to this wedding and while traveling they, their feet and hands would need washing. The “manner of the purifying” in this washing in the Greek is katharismos” which means a washing off, (morally) expiation: cleansing, purge, purification. We, as Believers in Christ Jesus are also known in scripture as “jars of clay.” 2 Corinthians 4:7 (NIV) reveals to us, “7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” Once the act of cleansing was complete and the instruments of jars used for cleaning the people were empty, then the jars could be used to have New Wine poured into them and New Wine carried in them! We are called jars of clay. If we, the jars will clean, purge and purify ourselves, then The Holy Spirit will be able to pour New Wine into us! And maintaining a clean heart and mind will enable us to carry this New Wine from God!

This New Wine that was poured out on that day at the wedding was not just any wine. It was found to be the Best! “ . . . and the man in charge drank some of the water that had now turned into wine. He did not know where the wine had come from, but the servants did. He called the bridegroom over 10 and said, "The best wine is always served first. Then after the guests have had plenty, the other wine is served. But you have kept the best until last!” As we talked about earlier, we are living in the last days before Jesus Christ returns for His Bride, The Church. And of all that The Bible tells us that we see happening and what is to come, what will assist The Bride in living in these days until Jesus returns? An outpouring of New Wine, an outpouring of His anointing! Hallelujah! And this New Wine will not be like any wine before. This New Wine will be the best, He will have saved the best for last!  The Best Wine is saved for the last . . . The Last Days!

No2/PH02261J.JPG

And when did the Best Wine manifested miracle take place? On the third day! We are now in TIME living in that third day! We are living in the last days before Christ comes and it is TIME for the New Wine to manifest in our lives! It is the third day, when the wedding is approaching us. And who are invited to this wedding? Jesus and His family and disciples just like at that wedding day in Cana! And the only way to become invited to this glorious wedding is to be in the family of Jesus and you do that by following what The Word says to do. In Romans 10:9-10 it tells us how, “That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Do that right now. Confess your sins to God and tell Him you believe in Him and ask Him to come into your life and save you in Jesus Name! He will hear you, just speak and receive Him. He’s been wanting you for such a long time! This is your time, don’t miss it!  Jesus HAS SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST, THE LAST DAYS . . . This is your time!  This is One Wedding You Don't Want To Miss!
